Major Patrons

BRUNO 89.jpg

Zeitz MOCAA is at an inflection point. In the six years since its founding the museum has grown from strength to strength traveling major exhibitions internationally and participating in art events throughout Pan Africa, the Americas, Europe, and more. Zeitz MOCAA has established a Global Council of artist and professional luminaries, and has won key foundation, especially in the area of education.

Through American Friends of Zeitz MOCAA the museum aims to connect with individuals in the United States who share an interest for supporting contemporary art from and about Africa and who want to be at the frontier of critical art dialogue.

“The concept of Africa is one that is larger than the contours of the continent, it reaches far beyond these borders to our vast diaspora and diverse cultural influences seen throughout in the world.” - Koyo Kouoh, Zeitz MOCAA Executive Director & Chief Curator
