Corporate partners

Our corporate partners share a commitment to championing contemporary art from Africa and its diaspora on a global stage, and ....

As part of our community,  you’ll connect with a unique network of collectors, philanthropists, artists, curators, and cultural leaders through private events, curated content, curator-led travel, exclusive behind-the-scenes access, and more—across the U.S. and internationally.

Founded in 2017 alongside the opening of Zeitz MOCAA in Cape Town, American Friends of Zeitz MOCAA (AFOZM) advances contemporary African and African diaspora art and artists worldwide.

Nearly 90% of every dollar raised goes directly to support Zeitz MOCAA’s exhibitions, artist commissions, and fellowships as well as curator grants—fueling creativity, access, and cross border dialogue. In 2024 alone, AFOZM awarded over $2.6 million in grants to critical museum programs.

By becoming a corporate partner, you are giving philanthropically to a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) organization and will receive a tax deduction.  American Friends of Zeitz MOCAA provides a secure and transparent pathway for U.S. donors to support the museum’s infinitely important vision and mission.

Join us in shaping the future of contemporary art from Africa and its diaspora.
